This property is located along Church Lane in Stradbally, a small coastal village in the south-east of Ireland. It sits on or near the edge of Woodhouse Estate, a historic private estate just outside the village.
Woodhouse Estate lies in a scenic valley on the Copper Coast, stretching from the village down toward cliffs and a sandy cove along the Atlantic coastline. The area is rural and tranquil, with countryside surroundings, mature trees, and easy access to the nearby beach at Stradbally Cove.
Overall, the house is positioned in a quiet, semi-rural setting—within walking distance of the village centre, yet closely connected to the wider estate and coastal landscape, and only a short drive from the larger town of Dungarvan.
Modern country escape
The interior of the property feels bright, modern, and thoughtfully designed, with a strong emphasis on colour, natural light, and comfort.
The main living and dining area is open and airy, featuring warm timber flooring and soft yellow walls that create a welcoming atmosphere. A built-in bay window seating area frames expansive countryside views, bringing the outdoors in and making it an ideal spot for dining or relaxing. The adjacent kitchen, visible through a wide opening, contrasts beautifully with deep navy cabinetry, light worktops, and a central island, giving the space a contemporary yet homely feel.
The sitting room offers a more intimate and cosy setting. It is decorated in rich teal tones, complemented by soft furnishings in neutral and earthy shades. Two comfortable sofas face each other across a leather ottoman, creating a perfect space for relaxation or entertaining. A large skylight overhead floods the room with natural light, while elegant touches such as a framed artwork, brass-accented lighting, and carefully styled décor add a sense of refinement.
Overall, the interior combines modern finishes with warm, inviting design choices—balancing style and comfort while making the most of the surrounding rural views.

All of the bedrooms in the property are tastefully decorated, each designed with a calm and inviting feel, combining soft colour palettes, quality furnishings, and plenty of natural light. Every bedroom benefits from its own ensuite bathroom, offering a high level of comfort, privacy, and convenience—ideal for both family living and hosting guests.
To the rear of the house, a large patio area provides an outdoor space for relaxing or entertaining. From here, there are beautiful views stretching out across the surrounding countryside toward the coastline, allowing you to fully appreciate the scenic setting and the nearby sea.
